7 blessings is based on the seven shivah braruchot recited at the wedding ceremony. Symbols of the shivah braruchot are within the bottom "U" shape border around the text (which has not yet been completed.) Blessing of the wine, creation of the universe, humankind, jerusalem, ten joys of marriage, and g-d. It ends like the ceremony at the breaking of a wine glass. The symbolism for a new beginning. The focal point at the top are the bride and groom kissing surrounded by the phrase "Matz et she-ahava nafshee" - "I have found the beloved of my soul." There are seven Mogen Davids. Seven is the mystical number of the creation of the universe. Jewish mysticism adds incredible spiritual interpretations such as equating marriage to the creation of a new universe. Two sets of interlocking rings symbolize the coming together and unending connection between the bride and groom. Also shown are sun and moon representing the fluidity of life and man and woman.
